Press shop operator — Gateshead

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Gateshead, England. On a typical shift you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
