Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Randolph County, Alabama. You will work in a garment export house. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
