Vacancy available: die-casting operator (Edo)

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Etsako East, Edo. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling We offer ₦115,000 per month plus benefits.
