Tower crane operator wanted in Ozaukee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
