Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Kirklees, England. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On the job you will handle: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Pay around £12 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
