Gantry crane operator — Cass County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Cass County, Texas. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred.
