AC mechanic — Carroll County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Carroll County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy AC installation company. Day-to-day duties: • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
