Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine assembly operator in Jefferson County, Iowa. The job is at an automotive parts factory. The role involves: • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons What we are looking for: • Careful handling of tools and components • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
