General labourer — Wilkes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a general labourer in Wilkes County, North Carolina. The job is on a residential housing site. On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate What we are looking for: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
