Immediate opening: sheet metal press operator (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Indian River County, Florida. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
