HVAC-R technician — Gray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Gray County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
