Bar bender and fixer — Meriwether County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Meriwether County, Georgia. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
