Steward — Harlan County

Join our team: we are hiring a steward in Harlan County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. You will keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room. Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
