Excavator operator • Mason County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Mason County, Michigan. The role involves inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
