Commercial painter — Osceola County

Join our team: we are hiring a commercial painter in Osceola County, Iowa. You will be based in a factory paint shop. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding The role involves: • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
