The role involves mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports 2+ years on the tools preferred.
