Toolroom milling operator — Barry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Barry County, Michigan. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 3+ years on the tools preferred.
