Foundry worker wanted in Arthur County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Arthur County, Nebraska. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
