Sewing machine operator — Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Boone County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
