Earthmoving equipment operator — Westchester County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Westchester County, New York. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day to day you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
