Tiling assistant — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Jackson County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
