Stone mason — Reading

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stone mason in Reading, England. Your main tasks: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer £2,450 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
