Pipe TIG welder — Allen County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Allen County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
