Sewing machine operator wanted in Blanco County

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Blanco County, Texas. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
