Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal.
