Tig welder wanted in Coos County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Coos County, New Hampshire. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Six days a week, one day off.
