Fusing press operator wanted in Ben Hill County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Ben Hill County, Georgia. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
