Bricklayer wanted in Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Douglas County, Illinois. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
