Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Hopkins County, Texas. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
