Urgent requirement: flatlock machine operator (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Evans County, Georgia. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
