Single needle operator — Calhoun County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Calhoun County, Arkansas. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
