Gtaw welder — Davis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Davis County, Iowa. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
