Safety officer — Wayne County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred.
