Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Grant County, Nebraska. The job is on the press shop floor. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
