Backhoe operator wanted in Ottawa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Ottawa County, Kansas. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
