Ironing operator — Colbert County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Colbert County, Alabama. You will be based at a garment factory. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. $6,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
