Now hiring: stitching operator (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Douglas County, Minnesota. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
