Steam press operator — Humphreys County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steam press operator in Humphreys County, Mississippi. You will work at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift.
