Offshore rigger — Oconto County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Oconto County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
