Visual inspection operator — Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Washington County, Iowa. The job is in an automotive parts factory. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade The role involves operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing.
