Gantry crane operator — Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Clark County, Kentucky. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. You will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
