MIG welder — Lee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Lee County, Arkansas. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
