Bench joiner — Sherman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Sherman County, Oregon. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. On the job you will handle: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
