Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Ndokwa West, Delta State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
