Shakeout operator wanted in Emery County

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Emery County, Utah. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Full-time with occasional weekends.
