Join our team: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Wayne County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour You should have: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
