We are recruiting: CNC programmer-operator (California)

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Modoc County, California. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Rotating shifts.
