Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Arthur County, Nebraska. You will work on the press shop floor. The role involves fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; record output and downtime on the production sheet. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
