Vacancy available: quality control inspector (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Thurston County, Nebraska. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
