Elevator technician — Vanderburgh County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. The job is on a high-rise construction site. The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
